Frontend Engineer
Frontend Engineer
We're looking for a frontend engineer who loves building fast, beautiful interfaces. You'll work directly on the Threadzip marketplace and AI suite — shaping the experience for thousands of fabric industry professionals.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain UI components across app.threadzip.com and pro.threadzip.com
- Collaborate with design to implement pixel-perfect, accessible interfaces
- Optimize for performance, Core Web Vitals, and mobile responsiveness
- Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs with clean state management
- Write maintainable, well-tested TypeScript code
What we're looking for
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
- Experience with modern CSS (custom properties, grid, animations)
- Familiarity with Astro, Next.js, or similar frameworks
- Understanding of web performance and accessibility fundamentals
- Good communication and ability to work async
Nice to have
- Experience with AI/ML product interfaces
- Background in e-commerce or marketplace products
- Contributions to open source

ML Engineer — Fabric AI
ML Engineer — Fabric AI
You'll work on the core AI models that power Threadzip Pro and Lab — fabric generation, swatch analysis, and property-based search. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of computer vision and the textile industry.
What you'll do
- Train and fine-tune image generation models for fabric texture synthesis
- Build and maintain the fabric analysis pipeline (composition, GSM, weave detection)
- Develop the semantic search system for property-based fabric queries
- Collaborate with product to translate industry requirements into model objectives
- Monitor model performance and iterate on production deployments
What we're looking for
- Strong Python and experience with PyTorch or JAX
- Hands-on experience with diffusion models or GANs for image generation
- Familiarity with computer vision tasks (classification, segmentation)
- Experience deploying ML models to production
- Ability to work with domain-specific datasets and limited labeled data
Nice to have
- Knowledge of textile science or material properties
- Experience with multimodal models (vision + language)
- Published research or open-source ML contributions
